Job Description

A unique opportunity for an experienced Material Planner/ Short Term Planner has come available based in the South East of the UK.

Job Purpose:

The integration of material requirements to ensure the fleet meets service availability.

Key responsibilities:

Identify material and tooling requirements supporting planned and unplanned maintenance events
Create stock reservations and identify material shortages
Raise Purchase Orders to satisfy material shortages
Produce material availability reports
Maintain close communication with engineering logistics staff to ensure all 'out-of-hours' material requirements are being managed
Attend meetings in support of the Maintrol department

Personal Qualities:

Build and maintain positive relationships with others
Have good sound Material Planning/ Short Term Planning and Material Management knowledge and experience
5 years Civil/military materials management experience

This is a permanent role and would not be suitable for those wishing to work on a contract or freelance basis.
