Job Description

FORTHCOMING POTENTIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENT

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a Premium Carrier who serve more than 119 destinations in some 38 countries, in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Africa with a fleet of 132 wide-body aircraft, consisting of Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

A 2 year contract position for a Maintenance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • monitor the operation and direct actions to ensure the aircrafts safety is maintained.
  • track and control aircraft defects and formulate plans to ensure timely rectification and the lowest possible numbers of deferred defects are carried forward.
  • provide 24 hours technical assistance and direction to flight crew and Engineers system-wide.
  • identify recurring defects and trends and construct rectification plans for rectification
  • formulate and institute plans for service recovery to avoid or after technical delays
  • represent Maintenance Support interests with other departments and  aircraft manufacturers

Requirements:

  • at least 10 years' aircraft maintenance experience with broad exposure in defect trouble shooting. Supervisory experience will be a definite advantage.
  • valid engineering license (Airframe/engine or Avionics) acceptable to the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department on at least two of the following aircraft types: A300-600, A330/340, B747-200/300, B747-400, B777.
  • Willing to work on shift
