The Position: The Product Manager is responsible for driving product development for a product or sub set of a larger product related to Airline Safety. Manage the program of work necessary to deliver the product to both Emirates Airline and external customers, and maximise the business value for the Emirates Group. Own and develop the product strategy for the product and define the product road map to ensure that it meets both functional and technical requirements to fulfil the current and future needs of Emirates Airline.

  • Facilitate and drive product strategy including the creation of a road maps.
  • Develop an annual market plan and a rolling marketing strategy including pricing and distribution strategies for the product group
  • Own the products technology framework, application architecture and design
  • Deliver release plan, market plan, configuration management, change management and QA
  • Manage assigned product specialist functional and technical teams

The Product Manager is responsible to ensure the commercial performance of their product/s ensuring it delivers customer value, achieves the benefits of the business and meets the customers full requirements which will include Emirates Group & External Customers. In this role you will be accountable for the managing of the entire lifecycle of products including a release plan, configuration management, change management and quality assurance of the product. The Product Manager will need strong leadership skills, and have a natural ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.

As part of this role the Product Manager will develop and plan the execution of Product Strategies to ensure that the assigned product(s) continue to meet both functional and technical requirements to fulfil the current and future needs of its customers. They will ensure that the assigned product(s) adhere to industry standards as well as meet the governmental and regulatory requirements.

The Product Manager will have airline experience in Airline Safety Product Management.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT product delivery or management with demonstrable experience in a managerial and customer facing role in aviation IT
  • Product Management in Airline Safety
