Job Description

The Manager Training and Development (Travel Retail) is responsible for the design, delivery,

management and continuous improvement across Qatar Duty Free. He / she will develop a long term approach to the way training and development is undertaken within the organisation. The role is responsible for developing and overseeing the training curriculum for staff at all levels including junior, middle and senior managers.

 Key performance indicators will be to develop training and development strategy for the business in co-operation with HR manager and other management personnel. Responsible to manage a team of Training Professionals that will provide training to Staff across Qatar Duty Free in a variety of programs. Develop solid relationships with Senior and Middle Management to identify new learning opportunities and ensure all learning offerings are high quality, culturally appropriate, and effective. Engage with external providers to ensure delivery of world-class training.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader as well as have very good presentation skills and have the ability to motivate a team towards outstanding results.  Ideally you will have 10 years experience with designing and facilitating Training and Development Programs for Junior, Middle and Senior Management related to Travel Retail / Retail.  A Bachelors Degree with a focus on Human Resources, Organisational Development (Masters preferred) from a recognized university. CIPD / IITD qualified will be an advantage.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in ensuring that the continued five star excellence that our customers have come to expect is operationally maintained.
