International HR Manager
In this challenging role you will be supporting the HR Leader Switzerland & MICE Europe in executing the people dimensions of business strategies. You are part of a Global Human Resources Team and you work within a small team in Switzerland and with fully support of an administration as well as a payroll team from the Kuoni Group Holding.
Your main responsibility is Resourcing/Recruiting (around 60%) and its process for Switzerland and partly for Europe. Besides this you will drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organisational change, structures, processes and business improvement initiatives. Thus you will contribute to improve business efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility and growth.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources or a degree of personnel specialist with 3 - 5 years of experience in an international HR organisation. You possess broad Human Resources knowledge or functional expertise in more than two HR streams and have ideally gained first experience within an international HR Manager role. This position requires an up to date understanding of present and future employment. The ability to effectively influence at management level, experience in advising and consulting on complex employee relations issues as well as managing organisational change in a complex intercultural setting are prerequisites for this role. Your good understanding of business dimensions allows you to successfully implement and manage projects and strategic change initiatives. As a strong team player you are able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within HR and the business. Your professional approach towards work and your "can do attitude" enable you to manage your own time and workload and juggle conflicting priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German are a must, additional European languages a distinct advantage.
In close partnership with the business you will manage complex employee relations issues, provide coaching as required and identify development or transfer issues. You give advice and guidance on Swiss employment law and Swiss compensation, maintain the recruitment system and optimize and coordinate the international recruiting process. In addition you will be responsible for identifying short, medium and long term resourcing needs, coordinate with recruitment over workforce supply and demand and challenge the line management on new roles, and replacement strategies. Last but not least you will have the opportunity to participate in challenging national and international HR projects.
