FAR, Contracts, Cost/Price~
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement Cost Analysis - Conducts complex cost/price analyses using statistical tools, market trend data and parametric models. Those analyses will be at both the individual cost element level (labor, material, overhead, etc.) and at the price level. The analyst will lead the supplier fact-finding / analysis activity and develop a detailed cost / price analysis report describing the results and recommendations of their analysis. The analyst will then work with supplier management to prepare negotiation strategy and be an instrumental member of the negotiation team.
Qualified candidates will typically have 10 or more years of related work experience and must have a minimum of 5 years of Procurement Cost Analysis experience on Defense Department programs. Candidates must have knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, specifically on FAR Part 12 and 15 Procurements. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
The candidate must have a detailed knowledge and significant experience doing cost / price analysis on Government contracts. Must have knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as they relate to government acquisitions, including the Truth In Negotiations Act. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
