Combat Experience in OEF/OIF, IPS Capabilities, Business Development~
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Ground Combat Systems Operating Unit is seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to find business opportunities within the Department of Defense. The successful candidate will be responsible for activities associated with the identification and establishment of new business opportunities within the DoD market segment as assigned by the Business Development Director. S/he identifies and maintains active liaison with new and key customers associated with individual opportunities and performs ongoing assessments of requirements. S/he identifies key customer contacts, procurement / technical requirements, applicability of IPS capabilities & technology. Experience in US Army or Marine Corps as a commissioned officer (minimum of 5 yrs). Combat experience in OEF/OIF, thorough understanding of Army tactical C4 systems. Ability to think and operate independently, willing to travel CONUS/OCONUS. Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, and a strong sales/marketing presence. Must be able to clearly present ideas to senior management, line management, and customers. Degree required. Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years applicable experience. Degree requirements: BA/BS. Travel : 65-75%.
