Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer - Electronics Packaging

Stevenage - 6 months - £30 p/h negotiable



Task Description:

Working for a leading client in the defence aerospace sector, the task will involve being part of a skilled mechanical team responsible for all mechanical design aspects of a new electronic target identification project.



Requirements:

The required individual will need to be able to work from design schemes, to produce detailed packaging solutions for electronic and RF sub-assemblies and components.



The required individual will need to work alongside other engineers to evolve designs.

The individual needs to be a ProE user with modelling experience.



Knowledge of electronic packaging of small sub-assemblies for military aerospace equipment is essential.



Knowledge of designing microwave components is advantageous.



Due to the sensitive nature of this project all candidates must hold an existing SC clearance.
