Job Description

Ocean Sky holds a special position as one of the only fully integrated aviation companies in Europe.  we offer truly unique and integrated services including aircraft charter, sales and acquisitions, aircraft handling, maintenance and interior design.  We are looking for equally unique individuals to join our Jet Centre ground handling team at our Fixed Based Operation at London Luton Airport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arriving Aircraft: Meeting arriving aircraft, first point of contact and representation of Ocean Sky for inbound passengers and crew
  • Passenger and Crew; Immigration, Customs and Special Branch clearance / liaison.
  • Communicating all relevant information to other departments, coordinating and recording required services.
  • Clean/process any dishes/laundry etc or other items for storage that may come off the aircraft.
  • Departing Aircraft: Prepare paperwork (weather and NOTAMS) and organise other items ready for crew arrival at the FBO minimum two hours prior to aircraft departure time.
  • Coordinate all services and requirements for departing aircraft; liaising with crew at all times to ensure aircraft is ready on time for departing passengers.
  • Passenger and Crew; Immigration, Customs and Special Branch clearance / liaison.
  • Restricted Flights: Performing check-in and coordinating restricted zone to conform to the DfT requirements for all restricted flights.
  • General: Monitor lounges and other areas for presentation and cleanliness at all times.
  • Take on Reception duties when no receptionist present or to cover breaks.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Duty Controller or Management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED 

  • Excellent VIP customer service understanding and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent personal presentation and conduct.
  • A positive attitude and demeanour.
  • Helpful, flexible and willing attitude to work and colleagues.
  • GCSE Maths, English, or equivalent.
  • Discretion at all times.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Full driving licence

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Some experience of General Aviation.
  • Some VIP Customer Service experience.                     
  • A good knowledge of Geographical locations.
