Composite Aircraft Technician Position

Experienced Composites Technicians are needed to perform C&D Maintenance Checks on Commercial Aircraft for our client in Lake City, FL.

Composite Aircraft Technician Position Job Description:

Perform repairs to aircraft composite components using the following materials:

• Fiberglass
• Aramid (Nomex & Kevlar)
• Carbon Fiber
• And other Advanced Carbon Materials
• Other duties may be assigned.

 Techniques Performed Include:

• Wet lay-up
• Prepreg lay-up
• Metal-to-Metal Bonding Utilizing Vacuum Bagging
• Hot Bond
• And other Advanced Techniques

Qualified Candidates For Composite Aircraft Technician Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:

• 2 years of experience as an Aviation Composites Technician is required.
• 6 of 24 months of recent experience as an Aviation Composites Technician is required.
• Commercial Aircraft experience is required.
• Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Able to accomplish any and all repairs, modifications, E.A.'s, etc, with very little to no assistance.
• Able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.
• Able to fabricate parts.
