Job Description

We are recruiting Composites Operators on behalf of a prestigious company in Yeovil to work within the Composite Department.

The position involves the manufacture of components and sub-assemblies in the production process. The successful candidates must process the ability to work in some / all of the following work centres within the department:
- Clean Room composite activity
- Detail / assembly pre-treatment techniques
- Machine tool and roto-peening
- Final assembly detail fitting and caulking
- Test specimen manufacture
- Detail / assembly de-flashing and trimming (fettling activities)
- Post survey repair work including strip and re-build

Candidates must have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, have traditional fitting and/or machining skills, have the ability adapt to a wide range of manufacturing techniques, be skilled in the removal/clean up of composite items and the ability to apply caulking and sealants to the highest standards.

This role is to begin immediately and is on a three month rolling contract. The role involves working as part of a shift team.

We will accept candidates on a PAYE, Limited or through an umbrella company.
