General Manager Acoustics Consultancy
Our Client is a small high-tech SME delivering cutting edge consultancy in the environmental effects of underwater noise to technically demanding customers.
The Company is now looking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Company. Reporting to the Director, you will take financial and managerial responsibility for the Company. You will also be responsible for business planning, including developing new markets and opportunities.
With a background in Acoustics or a physical science, you will have sound and demonstrable business management experience at a senior level.
Able to lead and guide a small team of Consultants, you will be required to liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure that the work is delivered as planned and at the highest quality.
A key part of the role will be to manage the tender process and compile and submit competitive bids in order to continue the steady growth and profitability of the Company.
Experience in underwater acoustics, or bioacoustics, is valuable but not essential as you will initially work with experienced staff.
