Job Description

Software Verification Engineer
Contract 6 -12 month
Location: Southern Germany

Requirement for Software Verification Engineers with a good working knowledge of DO-178B level A for a leading Aerospace company based in Munich. Knowledge of DOORS and Python scripting would be an advantage.

Task Description

Contribution within the verification of safety critical (RTC/DO-178B, Level A) embedded real time software for aircraft engines
Review of High-Level Requirements
Software Test Procedure generation against High-Level Requirements using DOORS
Performance of manual and automatic SW verification tests of developed Software at hardware in the loop test facilities within a closed box arrangement using Python / Lauterbach.
Configuration control / change management in Dimensions
Completeness Reviews / Transition Criteria Reviews / Creation of Test Summary Re-ports

Required skills

Good English capabilities, both spoken and written.
Experience in generation of test cases against software requirements specification (high level requirements)
Experience in review of test cases against software requirements specification and results
Experience within the usage of hardware in the loop test facilities

Highly recommended skills

Test procedure generation using Python
Software development/verification according to RTCA/DO-178B
