Job Description

Reliability Engineer  - Aerospace/Defence, Aircraft Systems, Airframe, Fuel (Engines).


As a Reliability Engineer you will Support the ILS Manager and Principal Reliability Engineer to develop best in class Reliability processes and Reliability capability. Delivering guidance to Design Teams based on reliability assessments and analyses. You will also assist in the planning and implementation of performance demonstrations and trials. The role is working on cutting edge Aerospace programmes and offers a bright future.
  
As a Reliability Engineer your Key Responsibilities will include -
Supporting the ILS Manager and Principal Reliability Engineer in implementation of reliability programmes; prediction and modelling of reliability aspects of complex mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
Technical liaison with CME design teams and customer.
 
As a Reliability Engineer your Qualifications and Experience will ideally include-
Experience in the practical application Reliability and Availability analyses (Predictions, FMECA, Fault Tree modelling).
An understanding of Logistic Support Analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, Contractor Logistic Support, Safety Case, HAZOP and HAZAN.
Experience of aircraft systems and maintenance, particularly airframe, fuel (engines).
Applicants must be qualified to HNC, BTEC or equivalent level in electrical or mechanical. engineering.

Ability with Access and ILS related software (Reliability Workbench).
Fault Tree Analysis.
FMECA.

Good verbal and written communications is essential, as is the ability to liaise effectively with other groups within the company and externally. Attention to detail, problem solving and team work are also key characteristics to be successful in the role
