Job Description

Hawker Beechcraft Limited based near Chester is an Origianl Equipment Manufacture owned Service Centre and is a world-class Service Provider of Maintenance, Modifications, Repairs, Interior and Exterior Refurbishments, Avionics and Engine Workshops, AOG Support and Parts Supply.  The facility is a fully authorised Service Centre offering Customer Support and addressing every requirement from initial enquiry to project completion in a timely manner with an emphasis on Customer Satisfaction and Quality.

We are looking for someone to join our team on a permanent basis:

You will be responsible for carrying out design and development activities to meet customer requirements for the modification of aircraft.  Ensuring design work complies with ALL regulatory requirements.  You will ensure timely performance of design activities, covering Avionics Installation, Avionic and Electrical Engineering essential.  Furnishings/Structures, Airworthiness, Planning, Structures/Stress would be beneficial, but not essential.

You will be required to liaise closely with Planning Engineers, Shift Supervisors and Commercial team to ensure timely response to customer requirements.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

Reliability Engineer i.e. FMEA/FTA etc.
Safety Engineer i.e. Safety Cases and Safety Engineering
Basic Electrics
Performance Engineer i.e. steep approach
Compilation of Certification Reports e.g. Test Schedules, Compliance documents
Generate Avionic and Electrical Schematics

The ideal Candidate will:

Be a qualified professional, with exposure to a wide range of design engineering activities within the Aircraft Servicing business.  The job required excellent interpersonal skills, with a high measure of detail orientation.
