AircraftEngineers.co.uk have been instructed to source a Compliance Verification Engineer for a permanent position in the UK.
In this role, you'll join a team of three engineers providing 24/7 Part 21 standby cover. The provision of cover works on a roster, whereby you'll typically be on standby in addition to your normal working hours for a period of one week in four.
You'll work in co-ordination with our client's Maintenance Operation Control Department to minimise the effect of structural complaints on the easyJet operation, complying with the requirements of our Design Organisation Handbook and Design Organisation Procedures.You'll liaise and correspond with Type Certificate holders, Supplemental Type Certificate holders and third party Design Organisations on technical and commercial issues.A focal point of expertise, you'll advise and co-ordinate within the Engineering and Maintenance Department and other areas of the business and as part of the team responsible for aircraft structures you'll play an essential role in the management of in?service damage and accomplishment of resultant rectification actions in a timely and efficient manner.You'll compile Engineering Orders, Work Orders and Job Instruction Cards, presentation of technical instructions in a systematic, clear and logical manner to the Part 145 maintenance organisation.You'll provide secondary support to the Fleet Engineering EASA Part M, Subpart G function which will include, but won't be limited to Airworthiness Directive compliance, Service Bulletin assessments, Safety Investigations, AMP Development and Reliability Engineering.
Requirements of the Role
To be considered for this role, you'll have aircraft structure design experience in an organisation that has EASA Part 21 Design Organisation Approval. You'll have detailed knowledge of Part 21, CS-25 and other airworthiness and regulatory requirements related to aircraft design. You'll have comprehensive knowledge of Airbus metallic and composite structures as well as a thorough understanding of aircraft design documentation, equipment approvals and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.You'll have a Professional Aircraft Engineering Qualification (Degree, HNC) and/or vocational training in the form of a recognised Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme.
You'll need to be willing to travel within the UK and internationally, sometimes at short notice and outside of normal working hours
