Aircraft Maintenance Inspector Position


Experienced Aircraft Inspectors are needed to Inspect New Commercial Aircraft for our client in Charleston, SC.

Aircraft Maintenance Inspector Position Job Description:

  • Fabrication Inspection - Primary function is to perform in-process inspections of composite lay-up assemblies. This may include both hand and automated layup approaches to all applicable standards and specifications.

    Other tasks include perishable material receiving inspection, calibration recall and records maintenance, autoclave inspection, trim and drill inspection, tool prep inspection, and composite repair inspection. Inspector will accurately document and report any defects that violate the drawing requirements.

    May be required to perform other related duties as assigned such as supporting shipping and receiving inspection operation, accurately document and report any defects that violate the drawing requirements and perform in-process visual and dimensional stinger trim inspection in cell 140.

    Verify basic product conformance to design requirements.

  • Provide objective evidence of results.

  • Perform auditing, surveillance and monitoring.

  • Identify and document discrepancies using non-conformance system.

  • Segregate and control non-conforming items.

  • Reviews rework dispositions.

  • Assist in product reviews with internal customer during product or process verification.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualified Candidates For Aircraft Maintenance Inspector Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience as an Aviation Inspector is required.

    • 6 of 24 months of recent experience as an Aviation Inspector is required. 
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • A valid clear driver's license.
