Sheet Metal, Structural Helicopter Mechanic Position
Experienced Helicopter Sheet Metal Mechanics are needed to perform Modification Maintenance Checks on Helicopters for our client in Coatesville, PA.

Sheet Metal, Structural Helicopter Mechanic Position Job Description:
- Perform aircraft sheet metal and composite repairs. Utilizing detailed blueprints, the incumbent will fabricate, remove and install various aircraft sheet metal, composite parts and structure.
- Utilize detailed blue prints to determine pieces to be fabricated and installed.
- Layout and fabricate aircraft parts such as ribs, stringers, doublers etc using standard sheet metal, and composite repair techniques; utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, dial calipers and scales.
- Properly identify areas in need of repair and properly remove and install aircraft parts in a timely fashion.
- Utilize fabrication machines including drill press, forming tools breaks and shears.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualified Candidates For Sheet Metal, Structural Helicopter Mechanic Position Will Have The Following Education/Experience:
- An A&P License is preferred, but not required.
- 5 years of experience as an Aviation Helicopter or Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic is required (this should include at least 3 years of aircraft structural repair experience).
- 6 of 24 months of recent experience as an Aviation Helicopter Sheet Metal Mechanic is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, sealant applications, adhesive applications, fastener installation/removal, solid and blind rivet removal/installation, safety wire installation, insert installation/removal, electrical bonding procedure, general structure layout, hi-Loc removal/installation, close tolerance drilling and reaming, cutting and shaping metals.
- Capable to work with little or no direct supervision.
- Knowledge of Helicopters is desirable but not required.
- Some computer skills are desirable.
