Job Description

Our customer is a leading global cargo carrier principally based in Eastern England.

They are seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager whose primary function will be to operate and maintain the company's Part 145, Part 147 & Part M approvals.

You will be required to Liaise with associated regulatory bodies such as EASA, UKCAA & FAA plus airline QA teams for the purpose of conducting audits to maintain approvals at line stations in various global locations.

This a very challenging but rewarding role requiring the applicant to be a flexible, highly motivated individual willing to travel globally as required in execution of their duties. The working hours will be on agreement with the customer and there will be an element of homeworking.

 Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility of managing as the Quality Assurance Manager for all Air Worthiness activities in accordance with company procedures and of regulating authorities' requirements.

Review standard and quality of services provided against set guidelines and submits recommendations for improvements. Determines compliance of maintenance activities with established global (European Aviation Safety Agency Part 145, Part 147, and Part M standards and requirements.

Report to Technical director on any discrepancy or conditions adversely affecting operations.

Produce and execute the company quality assurance auditing plan and issue Engineer Authorisations. Auditing will include a number of Overseas Line Stations.

External: discuss QA requirements with regulatory bodies such EASA, UKCAA, FAA and airlines QA team for audits.

Minimum requirements:

Education: .  EASA Aircraft Engineer Licence or equivalent Quality System Training, EASA 145/147/66/M Training, Audit Techniques Training, Quality System & Standard Appropriate Aircraft Type Rating an advantage 12 years experience in aviation with at least 3 years in a senior / managerial position.
