Job Description

Zenon Aviation Recruitment is currently searching for a Continual Airworthiness Manager on behalf of a prestigious corporate jet organization in Asia to work with their new hanger.

They require someone with the ability to work within a new start up, and who will bring the company in-line with EASA as a new facility.

This role requires someone to be responsible for all aspects of Part M compliance for the company's fleet and ensuring all maintenance is carried out on time and to approved standards.

The successful applicant will have experience running an EASA Part M subpart G Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation. This could be either within an airline or as a separate organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and control aircraft maintenance programmes
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of aircraft approved maintenance programmes
  • Manage mandatory and non mandatory modifications, changes and repairs to an approved standard
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out on time and in accordance with the approved maintenance programme
  • Ensure all applicable airworthiness directives and operational directives with a continuing airworthiness impact are applied
  • Ensure all defects are corrected by an appropriate approved maintenance organisation
  • Manage and archive all continuing airworthiness records and/or operators
  • Submit initial and renewal applications in respect of Certificates of Airworthiness / ARC respectively
  • Carry out corrective action raised by the Quality System in relation to Continuing Airworthiness
  • Ensure Deferred Defects are closed within the time limits

You must be acceptable as a Form 4 holder and preferably have been ARC signatory. A minimum of 3 years managerial experience is required, preferably in a similar role. Experience in having set up such a department would be advantageous, as well as a degree in engineering.

Requirements:

  • An engineering licence (any)
  • Practical experience and expertise in applying aviation safety standards and operating practice
  • Knowledge of relevant operational requirements and procedures, including AOC operations specifications and a knowledge of Quality Systems
  • EASA EU-Ops1 CAMO experience
  • Ability to develop/amend aircraft maintenance programs
  • Ability to develop/amend MELS
  • Strong knowledge of Part M particularly Sub parts G and I
  • Excellent MS Office skills - ability to write, format, and professionally present technical documentation
  • Experience of independently interacting with EASA/other regulatory authorities Form 4 holder
  • Good knowledge of using maintenance tracking systems (CAMP, Flight docs etc)
