Job Description

Our Client based in West Sussex region of the UK provides a worldwide service for AOG and critical response support, is currently seeking a Customer Service Executive to manage the sales and exchange of commercial aircraft spares to a defined customer base via contractual support.

This is a permanent position working a shift pattern from 7pm - 7am of 4 nights on and 4 nights off

Duties: 
Management of Quotation on Customers Request for Quotes

  • Interrogation of Database
  • Market Research
  • Technical Research
  • IPC Investigation
  • Quoting in accordance with company policy and procedures

Management of Customer(s) Orders

  • Credit control assessment
  • Negotiation and Procurement Procedures in accordance with company policy
  • Vendor Quality Approval Process
  • Database processing including the raising of contacts
  • Liaising with other team members to facilitate on time delivery
  • Exchange Order Management
  • Execution of "General Terms Agreements" & Exchange Agreements

Customer Service and Interface

  • Communication & interface with Customers / Vendors whilst on shift
  • Exceeding Customer Expectation and Company standards at every opportunity

Requirements:

  • Relevant and significant experience in the customer services function within AOG/Aviation
  • High degree of customer focus - internal and external.
  • Highly motivated with the capability to handle a demanding workload that requires accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to solve problems promptly and effectively.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word.
  • Proven commitment and ability to maintain a positive professional attitude in stressful and demanding situations.

  • Willingness to be flexible
