Job Description

Our Client is a well respected, established and world class Aircraft Charter Broker who is looking for an individual to join their Jet Fuel department as a Team Leader. This highly demanding role is ideal for someone who has extensive experience in Jet Fuel Brokering and Commodity and Futures Trading.

This position is a permanent position directly with our client based in the South East of England and comes with an attractive salary package.

Requirements:-

Experience in jet fuel brokering and previous knowledge and relationships with jet fuel suppliers on a global scale

Extensive knowledge of Platts, taxes, fuel charges and additional fee structures

Knowledge of equations, fuel indices, conversion tables giving the ability to make calculations with exchange rates and fuel volume formulas very quickly.

Knowledge of commodities and market trading (Brent ICE/Nymex)

Ability to negotiate pricing based on futures

Proven experience in large volume/value tenders and contracts

To have experience in handling fuel enquiries and assisting in technical product specifications.

Knowledge of aircraft and fuel capacities

A business acumen to seek new opportunities, leads and contacts

Experience of supervising or managing a small team

Computer literate
