Job Description

Senior Sales Executive

The Position:

This role is postioned with Emirates Secuirty Team and the successful applicant will be required to plan, organise and control the sales function of Transguard in order to ensure the successful achievement of sales and marketing objectives established by the Company, for the intention of safeguarding and developing the corporate image in local and international markets.

Key accountabilities for this role will include:

• Establishing, organising and developing the sales function to ensure efficient achievement of the Company's sales objectives.
• Conduct regular sales calls to key customers in order to promote and negotiate business for Transguard and identify, recommend and solicit potential new customs to widen the client base.
• Deal with complaints, recommendations, problems and requirements of potential customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction and long term good relations between the customers and Transguard.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to anticipate threats and identify opportunities, recommend and implement counter activities in order to improve the market share of Transguard in a highly competitive environment.
• Maintain regular contact with Transguard management, in order to evaluate the service standards, recommend and implement sales and marketing activities to achieve the sales and marketing objectives of the business area.
• Carry out Risk Assessment Surveys in order to protect the staff and valuables entrusted to Transguard.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Commerce or a minimum of 2/3 years
  Experience in a target driven sales role.
• Minimum 2/3 years experience of working in Freight Forwarding.
• Experience of working in a customer service based role.
• Experience of sales negotiation and meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High computer literacy and extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Access and Power Point.

Desirable

• Experience of working with valuable goods.
• Knowledge of diamond & fine jewellery industry will be an added advantage.
