Line Maintenance Manager reporting to Head of Maintenance, will be responsible for compliance in line with regulatory, customer and shareholder requirements. You will \also be responsible for ensuring Jet2.com's safety,airworthiness and economic objectives are met in an efficient and effective manner.
You will be responsible for providing effective management for maintenance control and line maintenance activities conducted at Jet2.com in the UK and overseas line stations to ensure that all commitments to shareholders, employees and regulatory authorities are delivered. You will have full responsibility for the management, implementation and completion of line short term planning, scheduled servicing and service checks, defect investigations and rectification along with casualty repairs both in the UK and overseas.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with B1 / B2 aircraft maintenance licence or equivalent. Demonstrable and up to date knowledge of applicable airworthiness and health and safety legislation will be a key requirement of the role. You will be a proven people manager with the ability to lead and implement ongoing continuous improvement. Excellent communication and negotiating skills will be a key function of the role along with knowledge of MS office packages including Word and Excel.
