ORAT Training Officer - Ground Services is responsible for developing and facilitating group training and instructional programs, covering a wide range of process, system and regulatory development areas in accordance with an agreed training plan. The incumbent ensures that people are equipped with the required behavioural knowledge and skills to support the business in achieving its objectives.
Duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to:
Act as an ambassador for Group Learning Development, by forgoing and maintaining position relationship with internal and externals customers.
Coached and be coached by fellow colleagues.
Design and develop training materials based on best practice Learning and Development Methodology
Initiate new training based on prior experience and needs analysis
Facilitate training programs to a world class standard.
Research and recommend external programs
Candidate must be:
· Bachelors Degree
· A formal accreditation in training required from IATA or equivalent
· A minimum of 4 years aviation, hospitality experience
· A minimum of a least 1 year of experience in aviation, hospitality training · Experience in Ground Services on systems for check-in
· Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
· Must have strong organizational ability to be able to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities/ work interruptions and meet deadlines.
· Must possess leadership qualities, confident with dynamic personality
· Dexterity in computer skills and excellent verbal & written communication skills
