Deputy Head of Design & Office of Airworthiness
MANCHESTER

We are seeking experienced senior aeronautical engineers with a strong background in modification design & refurbishment of aircraft interiors. All candidates must be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the EASA requirements relating to Safety, Weight & Balance, Flammability and Installation.

All candidates must be able to create engineering modification packages, including all drawings and validations for the modification of aircraft interiors in accordance with the DOA design organisation handbook. Qualification/General Requirements Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position (CVE Experience) Experience on a wide range of aircraft, Boeing, Airbus etc.

Experienced in aircraft maintenance, modification & refurbishment activities, regulatory design approvals and technical solutions for product improvements, knowledge of aircraft certification process for EASA DOA/POA organisations AUTOCAD knowledge, good Microsoft office knowledge,   team spirit with a hands on mentality, ability to work independently and good communication skills.

The Successful candidate should be able to liaise and provide technical support to the following: Certification engineers, Maintenance organisations in support for repair work and provide solutions to technical issues, Sales, Interior designers, Production, Vendors, Subcontractors, Other engineering sub-departments.
