Description

* The Interior Technician's responsibilities may also include maintaining survival and evacuation equipment, such as rafts, flotation devices, and escape slides in cabins.
* Inspect, troubleshoot, test repair, and maintain aircraft including upholstery, carpet, cabinetry, other cabin furnishings and equipment.
* The interior technician may also be required to install or modify these systems and related components.
* Cut, glue, install foam, material (leather/cloth) and trim parts to various interior panels.
* Cut pattern layouts for chair and parts.
* Sewing. Installing chair back and seat covers
* Read and understand engineering drawings
* This position is for any shift.

Qualifications

* Employee needs to be familiar with sewing, covering chairs, and a variety of parts that get foamed and covered
* Must be able to work with a variety of hand tools be able to work with foam and leather materials.
* Four to six years experience required
* Previous experience sewing and covering chairs is a plus
* Experience in working on aircraft interiors and understand the quality that goes into our products
* High School and GED
