Job Description

Quality Manager

One of our clients based in Midlands has a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer.

As a Quality Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
Generation and implementation of Quality plans to meet Customer requirements
Manage and host Customer audits and source inspection activities
Ensure inspection process adherence and associated physical sign-off of product prior to dispatch.
Establish and track Quality KPIs, and implement activities to drive improvements.
Conduct required First Article Inspections and ensure smooth transition of new products into production

As a Quality Engineer your experience and qualifications will ideally include:
Background in any Quality Assurance/Inspection environment and an understanding of Quality tools and techniques
A mandatory requirement is to be highly experienced and familiar with engineering drawings and geometrical tolerance, together with experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience of producing Aerospace-standard FAI reports would be a distinct advantage
Quality Planning - ability to effectively implement Customer specific requirements
Understanding of key manufacturing Quality Standards
