Job Description

Enterprise Buildings Integrator, Industrial Security~

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems. Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.

Technologies:
⢠Client specific Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI)experience
⢠Perimeter Intrusion Detection (IDS) systems with optical, thermal, active IR, or radar devices
⢠Access control systems (client specific Temaline and Star controllers)
⢠Terrestrial Trunked (TETRA) Radio System (customer locations include USA, UAE, Australia, China, South America, etc.)
⢠client specific Digital Video Manager for industrial process monitoring

Project Execution:
⢠Use local codes and industry standards for installation, service and troubleshooting of advanced security systems.
⢠Ensure proper engineering techniques are utilized from job mobilization to project completion, including documentation, training, and system commissioning.
⢠Provide hand on customer training for advanced security systems.
⢠Supervision of third party subcontractors/partners for installation of systems.
⢠Ensures complete and accurate responses on subcontractor proposals for field design and installation.
⢠Focus is on Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and networked industrial solutions.

The Industrial Security engineer will work with a multidiscipline team that consists of our projects organization, engineering team, estimating, consulting staff, product R&D, network services, marketing, and sales. This role has the responsibility to ensure that standardized processes, documentation, templates, best practices are developed and driven in a âcopy exactâ manner to ensure consistent execution and delivery and that overall project objectives are met.

REQUIREMENTS:
⢠Bachelorsâ degree in Engineering or 5 years experience leading electronic security projects.
⢠Client specific Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI)experience
⢠Access control systems (client specific brands Star and Temaline) experience

Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager.

Additional Requirements:
⢠Perimeter Intrusion Detection (IDS) systems with optical, thermal, active IR, or radar devices
⢠client specific Digital Video Manager (DVM) for industrial process monitoring experience
⢠Knowledge of government driven regulations for industrial security.
⢠Experience in the industrial facilities, petrochemical industry preferred.
⢠Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) RCDD certification.
⢠Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a plus.
⢠Fluent in multiple languages a plus.
⢠Ability to travel up to 50%, some international travel required.

EDUCATION:
May require a Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
