Stress Engineer Position

Experienced stress engineers with a strong background in aircraft fuselage structural modifications are required by out client in Switzerland.

Description/Tasks

• Conducts stress analysis of parts and assemblies related to aircraft fuselage structural components, equipment and systems
• Prepares Structural Substantiation Reports, Statements, Test Plans and Test Reports of simple designs and their structural integration into Aircrafts
• Assists in reviewing of technical drawings.
• Receives close supervision and supervises no employees.
• Assignments are clearly defined by the Group Leader.

Qualification/Experience

• Master or Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and five years work experience as a stress engineer in aviation environment on fuselage modifications
• Knowledge of aviation regulations
• Good knowledge of English. German and/or French would be an advantage
• Computer-literate (ability to use MS Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Solid experience in primary and secondary structures, fixtures
