Line Maintenance Manager
Salisbury
As we develop our Aircraft Line Maintenance capability for UK and international clients, we can offer an outstanding growth opportunity for an accomplished and ambitious Line Maintenance Manager.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of line maintenance services and operations at Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, ensuring compliance with MoD, EASA and QinetiQ procedures. Reporting to the Aircraft Services Group Manager, you will line manage a team of Engineers and Technicians through a significant programme of cultural change, with responsibilities for the associated financial cost centre. You will also be responsible for applying the appropriate standards to aircraft and for driving Aircraft Availability' and operational efficiency to meet both customers' and business needs.
A B1/B2 licensed Aircraft Engineer with RJ 70/100 or A109 approvals and extensive industry experience, you will need a proven track record of implementing and winning bids, and of delivering projects effectively. In particular you will have managed and implemented line maintenance activities, built effective maintenance teams and robust processes, established strong relationships with stakeholders and customers, and managed contractors, agencies and supply chains.
Success in this role will pivot on your ability to drive change, to develop a more commercial outlook, and to embed both good management practice and a standardised EASA approach to maintenance and operational support. An inspirational leader and influencer, with the ability to delegate, empower and communicate well in a multi-disciplinary context, you should also have OSH training, extensive experience of EASA Pt145 Line Station Management, and the ability to interpret design drawings.
