Job Description

£42,000 - £47,500 + excellent benefits
Based Crawley

When it comes to engineering - mechanical engineering - you know aircraft like the back of your
hand. So come and deliver Type and Basic training as an Engineering Training Officer with Virgin
Atlantic. Your knowledge will be valued, your involvement will go beyond the classroom and you'll be
able to put your fantastic ideas on training into practice.

Your role will include training on the B747-400, A340-300/600 and A330 types. And we welcome
engineers from other organisations to our courses, so your customer care skills will come into their
own.

As well as personally delivering technical and compliance training on all aspects of aircraft including
powerplant, you'll develop fit-for-purpose training-related solutions and get involved in a host of
projects within the training arena. In short, your aim will be to develop a technically brilliant workforce
and maintain our reputation for engineering excellence.

You could be an engineering trainer at present, an engineer who wants to get into training, or be
working in academia. As well as strong technical knowledge, you should be innovative, creative and
able to work through the entire training cycle. Excellent communication, motivational, planning and
time management skills will be taken as read.

As well as a highly varied and challenging role with a globally renowned brand, you can look forward
to superb benefits that include one of the best concessionary travel schemes in the industry.
