Job Description

Our Aerospace client are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join their existing team in Yeovil.

Purpose:

To manage the performance of people and processes and facilitate all production and information flows within the defined area of responsibility. In particular, the role involves working to achieve tight programme timescales and maintaining budget and cost targets, whilst maintaining quality requirements of both external and internal customers. To be responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental issues within designated area and actively encourage and support a culture of continuous improvement. To take pro-active involvement with the manufacturing engineering and quality functions to develop processes and facilities.

Experience:

Background and experience in manufacturing, ideally in the aerospace industry.
Use of MS tools (Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Previous experience in a team leader role.

Knowledge
Thuia and Baan systems
Understanding of MRP and MPS scheduling

Qualifications
A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
HNC level of education or equivalent.
