STA is now offering exciting opportunities for Technical and Academic Instructors in Saudi Arabia who share our professionalism and commitment to service.
As an Instructor, you will carry out academic training in the technical/ aviation domain; including materials selection and preparation, syllabus development, implementation of courses, record keeping, production of TNA documents and program design, development and delivery. To be considered for these opportunities you will have relevant qualifications and extensive experience in technical teaching in the Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic fields and associated maths/sciences. At least 5 years teaching and assessment experience in the aircraft industry is highly desirable.
The positions are starting in Riyadh with temporary duty in other regions throughout KSA as required. Employment is on an unaccompanied basis with the following terms and conditions:

JOB PURPOSE:
To carry out Technical Training on behalf of Saudi Development & Training Co Ltd. This includes training materials selection and preparation, syllabus development, implementation of courses, record keeping, writing assessments, and training program design, development & delivery.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To design and administer appropriate tests and assessments
To select appropriate course material to match students abilities and customer requirements.
To independently design & deliver training courses.
To provide continuous assessment of students and liaise with department managers.
To document work as necessary attendance / progress reports.
To counsel students with regard to their progress in order to maintain motivation.
To work in conjunction with recognised awarding bodies to design & develop training courses and materials.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION:
Essential
Significant relevant training experience.
Significant industrial experience working on aircraft.
Educated to HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, preferably in aerospace.
References required.
Experience in preparing vocational assessments
Have a reasonable level of computer literacy.
Must have original copies of all certificates (No on-line certificates accepted)
Have the ability to function independently as well as being part of a team.
Ability to design and develop training materials.
Ability to deliver all technical training in English.
Desirable
Hold an assessor and/or verifier award.
Hold a teaching qualification.
Experience in working in KSA or Middle East
Experience in preparation of assessments for BTEC, NVQ and other UK educational systems.
Experience of using Interactive media for teaching/training.
