Our Aerospace/Defence client are looking for a Maintenance Programme and Reliability Engineer to join their facility in Carterton, Oxfordshire.
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Oversight of fleet compliance.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the company Approved Maintenance Programme.
- Analysis of defects and reliability data within established standards to ensure suitable and adequate changes are made to the Programme. .
- Provide technical support for the Third Party service provider.
- Provide management oversight over Third party service provider to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintenance Programme is maintained.
- Co-ordinate efficient and effective feedback.
- Using the Maintenance Computer systems, ensure all defect reports are collated and in-service experience is fed back into the Programme.
- Detailed analysis and interpretation of information relating to operational feedback and recommendation of any changes to the Programme.
- Maintain robust communication links with all areas of the operation to ensure timely collection of aircraft related data.
- Attend the regular Maintenance Planning meetings, discussing and analyzing reliability information in the context of the maintenance plan requirements.
- Recording any deviations from the Maintenance Programme and advising the Engineering Manager immediately.
- Attend all operational meetings, as required, with recorded data and ensure any actions are carried out.
- Maintain Health & Safety requirements.
- Liaise with internal/external departments as necessary.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven knowledge of MSG-3 logic.
- Experience of trend and reliability data
- Previous demonstrable experience within a Maintenance Programmes environment, preferably involving the management of the civil type aircraft.
- Demonstrable ability to work within a multi skilled team
- Demonstrable ability to manage and influence relationships with sub-contract service providers and regulatory bodies
- Demonstrable experience in technical and operational delivery requirements in accordance with technical procedure manuals and company expositions.
- Demonstrable experience in working with complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT systems for the purposes of aircraft programmes management
- Maintenance Planning qualifications such as Manufacturer Maintenance Programme Improvement
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent

- Company Induction (HR01)
- SFAR88 (Phases 1 and 2) (U19 and U20)
- Human Factors Initial Training (T19)
