Flight Test, Analysis, Aircraft~

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is for an experienced engineer in the area of flight test analysis/aircraft performance. Initial responsibilities will include writing test plans, monitoring flight testing, analyzing test data and writing reports of aircraft performance testing for development and certification of an FAA Part 23 aircraft.

The applicant should have experience and understanding of all phases of aircraft performance testing and data analysis and require little oversight. Additional responsibilities could include preparation of the performance section of the airplane flight manual, flight planning manual and development of electronic solutions for aircraft performance considering the operation of the airplane.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft performance / flight test.
Understanding of all phases of aircraft performance and flight test methods. Experience with FAA Part 23 or Part 25. Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, Advanced Excel user, Knowledge of VBA programming for Excel, Matlab and/or FORTRAN preferred.

EDUCATION:
BS in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
