Job Description
My Aerospace client who are a supplier of aircraft lighting and electrical systems are looking for a Quality customer returns controller to join their facility in Sunbury-upon-thames.
Leading the management of customer returns and turn backs for the business, facilitation of detailed investigations, RCCA's, lessons learnt, ESS effectiveness determinations and reporting findings and preventative actions to the customer.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
To manage customer returns and turn backs through all stages of the investigation process from notification by the customer to closure by customer, and acceptance of investigation findings and actions taken.
To ensure that investigations are completed in a timely manner in line with customer and business expectations.
To negotiate/utilize business resource as required, as determined by individual investigation needs.
To ensure that appropriate containment and preventative actions are taken.
Analysis of investigation findings and internal feedback of lessons learnt.
Trend analysis and consideration on the impact on the supply chain, design, manufacturing or customer.
To ensure that the investigation is fully documented at all stages and a final report is submitted / presented to the customer.
To provide advice and assistance to all staff as required in Quality related matters.
Knowledge/Expeirence
- Strong experience in a high level customer driven service environment.
- Hands on experience in a quality control environment.

Education/training
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- UK driving license
