Aeropeople are proud to be working in partnership with one of the world's leading Airlines, who have identified the need to hire a Senior Design & Development Engineer for their Structures department.

The successful applicant will work on a fleet which comprises A340's, A330's and 747's to name a few, is one of the most varied and modern in the skies. By joining this company you'll play a central role in contributing to the airworthiness and reliability of our aircraft.
Based at Heathrow Airport in a hangar, you'll manage repairs and provide operational support in a high-pressure environment where tight turnaround times and thinking on your feet will be key. As part of a small team within an EASA Part M Continued Airworthiness Department, your contribution will be pivotal to maintaining the compliance, safety and airworthiness of the fleet.
Your role will focus on all aspects of structures technical management on our Airbus and Boeing fleets to ensure compliance with safety, airworthiness and Regulatory Authority requirements. A key element of your role will involve taking responsibility for the definition and approval of EASA Part 21 solutions and advising on structural repairs for operational and hangar based aircraft.
In addition, you will need to take part in the investigation of structural defects, specification and implementation of fleet-wide structure maintenance and modification policies and assessment of OEM and Airworthiness Authority requirements.
You will possess a very strong background in aircraft structural analysis, ideally within a repair or design environment acceptable to EASA for Part 21 CVE Approval. You'll also need a solutions-oriented approach and a relevant degree/HND qualification or equivalent. Decisive and comfortable under pressure, you'll need the diplomacy to communicate well with people at all levels. A willingness to provide 24/7 structures technical support through the on-call rota is essential.
