The Position: 
We are inviting applications for consideration as Technical Services/Development Engineers within Emirates Engineering department. We are currently looking for engineers in the following disciplines;

  • Airframe Mechanical Systems
  • Structures
  • Avionics
  • Cabin
  • IFE
  • Powerplant

The incumbent's primary objective will be to provide technical services as a member of the technical services team working on Emirates fleet to ensure a high standard of service and technical dispatch reliability. 

Specifically, the Technical Services Engineer will;

  • Provide technical support of activities prior to aircraft delivery.
  • Supply technical services for upgrade and modification of aircraft in revenue service.
  • Provide technical services to help reduce repair and maintenance costs.
  • Offer specialist technical advice for resolution of complex and/or unusual aircraft technical problems.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License for 5 years.
  • A total of 8 years experience of which 5 years in a Technical Services function and at least 3 years on Emirates type fleet.
  • Thorough knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Systems.
  • Ability to assess the business and safety implications of making technical changes to aircraft.
