Morson International are recruiting for a Work Transfer Contractor for a leading aerospace client based in Yeovil, Somerset.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate the statements of work describing Engineering work transfer between UK and Italy, administer the transfer of work from UK LHD Engineering to ITA LHD Engineering through the intercompany SAP work transfer process by placing Purchase Order requisitions, checking acceptable performance of the work, liaising with Programmes to raise Primary Cost Networks, checking and accepting the delivery which clears the invoice for payment.
  • Liaise with Finance to obtain intercompany work transfer rates, co-ordinate with Procurement Governance the raising of top level work transfer call off contract, co-ordinate with International Government Sales the top level ITA to UK work transfer sales contract.
  • Administer the receipt of work originating from Italy through the intercompany SAP work transfer process for Sales Orders, the setting up of UK cost collector WBS and networks in SAP linked to Sales Order, launch of the work, creating SAP delivery confirmation and monitor invoicing through Finance.
  • Plan programme activities (both UK and Italy technical content) to seek the optimum use of engineering personnel.
  • Maintain SAP Project Structures, WBS and Networks.
  • Use Statements of Work and Engineering Proposal Documents.
  • Create Purchase Order Requisitions for all work transfer and A1 approve CTO agreed requests.
  • Check all Engineering work transfer invoices for validity and reconcile to originating Purchase order. Receive and check invoices and co-ordinate internal payments. Reconcile hours performed against hours approved.
  • To co-ordinate various activities of the Chief Project Engineers and other areas such as Programme and Customer Support functions.

Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of SAP and transactions processes in respect to Requisitions, Service and Goods Receipt and Work Transfer.
  • Good interpersonal and team skills to liaise with internal customers and External suppliers.
