We are pleased to announce that our prestigious Client has a vacancy for a Wildlife Consultant for the Wildlife Control Units located at various RAF stations and Civil Airports.

 

For the Wildlife Consultant role, you would work closely with the Senior Wildlife Consultant who has 30 years experience.  Who carries out 13km surveys around airports worldwide, advises on new airport buildings and locations to minimise attracting wildlife and birds.  He trains staff in bird control and wildlife hazard management. 

A large amount of UK travel using a company vehicle and travel by air when travelling to Scottish regions. Worldwide travel would also be a possibility.

You would essentially need a Degree in Ornithology or a degree in Wildlife related Studies.

Previous aviation related employment is desirable, along with experience working with bird control systems is desirable but not essential.

This position is a Permanent Direct Hire


Requirements:

  • Degree in Ornithology or a degree in wildlife related studies
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • The right to live and work within the UK
