** Trainee Aviation Support Specialist Required **

Are you a recent graduate within the field of aviation? Are you looking to take your first steps into the industry? If so this role as a Trainee Aviation Support Specialist could be perfect for you!

 

The primary role of the Trainee Aviation Support Specialist will be to learn how to and progress into the Aviation Support Specialist role. There will be classroom training and on the job training on a variety of areas ranging from aircraft systems and technical issues to understanding weather to specific systems training.

 ** This role is based in South-East England **

As the Trainee Aviation Support Specialist your responsibilities will include:

Flight Support

  • Monitor and flight watch group operated flights
  • Broker any out of hours private jet charter or ACMI requests whilst maintaining a high service level
  • Monitor news for breaking events
  • Field any EPD calls and, follow the callout procedure and search for suitable aircraft
  • Liaise with brokers and EPD clients after an activation call
  • Monitor weather and NM issues that could affect group flights, and communicate accordingly
  • Provide out of hours telephone and email management for the group

Service

  • To deliver first class service to company clients and operators within the 24 hour shift pattern

 

To be considered for the role of Trainee Support Specialist you must;

  • Ability to demonstrate first class client care
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Willingness to be flexible as part of a small 24 hour team
  • Numerate with the ability to problem solve
  • Good Microsoft office skills
  • International experience and the ability to speak an additional language is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and think outside of the box
  • Good knowledge of the aviation industry
  • studied or completed some form of Aviation studies
