Client

Our client, a leading provider of flight training services, due to continued expansion, are now actively seeking Theoretical Knowledge Instructors to join them on a permanent basis at their offices in both Coventry and Southampton in their ATPL Ground school.

Overview & Key Responsibilities

The role of Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is to impart knowledge of the theoretical subject matter to those who subscribe to the client’s courses. In doing so you shall fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

  • To teach a range of EASA ATPL Instruments and technical subjects
  • To prepare and update EASA ATPL course materials in accordance with the NPA 25 syllabus
  • To assess and act as an internal moderator in appropriate subject areas
  • To prepare, invigilate and moderate appropriate EASA ATPL Theoretical Knowledge exams
  • To monitor and report on trainee progress
  • To provide guidance and support to individual trainees
  • To maintain accurate course records

Requirements

  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact well with trainees
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and carry out assignments to completion
  • International outlook with the ability to deal comfortably with various cultures
  • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office/Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • Capacity to deal with people in a polite and friendly manner
