The Technical Representative (Tech Rep) reports and is responsible to the Maintenance Controller on duty. The tech rep will perform assigned work in accordance with manufacturers maintenance manuals, applicable Maintenance Program, GMM, MEL/CDL, company policies and procedures, industry standards, etc. and the directions provided by the Maintenance Controller. ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Perform and accomplish all work encountered and assigned in accordance with the applicable approved data and by the government and company policies, procedures and industry standards.- Properly document and record all maintenance actions in accordance with GMM, MEL/CDL, FARs and company policies and procedures. Indicate Tech Reps responsibility for work performed by signature and/or applicable sign off policy. In circumstance where a task or item of work is not completed prior to Flight Mechanics tour of duty ending, use short signing to account for that portion of work the particular Tech Rep has accomplished.- Ensure all data used on an aircraft, engine, appliance and/or component when testing, inspecting correcting discrepancies and/or accomplishing a repair is approved and current. When using calibrated tolling or test equipment on an aircraft, engine, appliance and/or component ensure the item has been calibrated and is current prior to its use, if the item ahs been dropped or mishandled, do not use until repair and/or re-calibration has been accomplished and appropriately documented.- Immediately report to the Maintenance Controller documented discrepancies as well as any recognized and/or perceived non-airworthy, unsafe or non-conforming condition discovered in the performance of his duties and/or assignment.- Ensure all phases of work undertaken and/or accomplished is being done with all applicable approved data, tooling, appropriate and current forms. Completes the applicable paperwork as detailed in the GMM, MEL/CDL, Maintenance Program and/or appropriate policies and procedures. Ensure all maintenance performed is clearly and appropriately documented. - Demonstrates a continual vigilance to ensure all aspects of maintenance are performed in a safe, efficient, compliant and reliable manner. - Maintain, secure and protect the property and reputation of the company in a professional manner.- Ensure all drop shipped parts and materials are properly received, inspected and verified as airworthy, legal and applicable.- Must ensure any work performed is accomplished in accordance with data acceptable to the aircrafts maintenance Program Administrator. Qualifications- High School Diploma or Equivalent, Airmans Certificate with A&P ratings. - Experience as a licensed A&P mechanic working checks/inspections or line maintenance with sign-off authority. Ability to work GMM, MEL/CDL, maintenance programs and FARs. - Minimum 3 years Boeing NG experience. Able to understand and communicate as related to approved data, required policies and procedures and workplace safety.
