Technical Author/Project Lead
As part of its ongoing development our client has a requirement to recruit a Technical Author - Project Lead, based at Cambridge International Airport.
The positions would suit experienced Technical Authors with an enthusiasm for complex projects.
Possessing strong interpersonal skills, the successful candidates will be capable of working in a well organised and methodical manner, with minimal direct supervision.
Paying close attention to detail, they will produce fast and accurate documentation.
Remaining focused on completing their tasks, they will also be both flexible and adaptable to fluctuating requirements and changing priorities.
Their skill set will include:
Wide experience (Preferably 5 years plus) in the development of new data modules for civil aircraft maintenance publications;
A sound knowledge of ATAiSpec2200;
A sound knowledge of ASD-STE;
Excellent writing skills;
PC literate with good FrameMaker skills.
In addition to sound Technical Authoring skills the successful applicant must have:
A proven track record working on large technical publications projects for civil aircraft
Broad-based experience of the aerospace industry
Experience of leading a small technical publications team
A good understanding of the iSpec2200 specification
Working knowledge of FrameMaker'
