Aircrew Technical Author
An excellent opportunity for a Technical Author has arisen to join a market leading Aerospace and Defence client near Preston, Lancashire in the Technical maintanance documentation division for a Technical Author, initially for 12 months.
A Technical Author or those with a background in the Aerospace industry are required to join our team in Warton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and update of Aircraft Maintenance publications in accordance with the appropriate specifications, ASD STE100 (Simplified Technical English) and S1000D (International Specification for Technical Publications).
We are looking for someone with proven IT skills in particular is conversant with the use of MS Office and MS Outlook, has experience of modern electronic production tool-sets such as Standard Generalised Mark-Up Language (SGML), XML and good interpersonal skills.
Aircraft maintenance engineering experience or engineering degree / HND
Knowledge of the following applications is not essential, but would be advantageous - Mercury - Framemaker - WebEx Ultra CSDB - WebEx Ultra Author
