Role:  Support Contracts Administrator
Salary: £15,000- £17,000 pa

Location: West Sussex

Own Transport is essential due to the location of the office.

Client:

My client is a global component service provider to the aviation industry.

My client supports customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

My client specialises in tailor made aircraft support solutions. Providing an extensive range of Aircraft Component Services including Trading, Pooling and Repair Management of aircraft spare parts with global locations and Main Base in west Sussex strategically positioned for all major UK routes by road, air or sea, they’re now looking for an Support Contracts Administrator to join them on a permanent contract.

Role:

To assist the Support Contracts team with the management of customer Power by the Hour and Lease contracts ensuring on time delivery in accordance with contractual agreed terms. To develop good relationships with suppliers and customers in order to maximise revenues without compromising customer service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the Support Contracts department administration
  • Assist Support Contracts Executives with customer AOG/priority requirements ensuring quick response times
  • Source aircraft spare parts in accordance with customer’s requirements
  • Maximise all ad-hoc sales opportunities
  • Deliver high quality customer service
  • Process and update data and produce required performance monitoring reports
  • Process quotes and sales orders
  • Update Avtrade IT systems with all required information
  • Develop and build market knowledge
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal departments as required
  • Utilise web based Aircraft parts databases
  • Assist management and undertake projects as requested
  • Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant
  • Any other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Preferably previous working experience in an administrative role
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and reporting skills.
  • Ability to use initiative, common sense and resolve problems
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • Strong organisation and administration skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Good computer skills, highly proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work a flexible working week of 37.5 hours consisting of day shifts.
  • Participate in training as required
  • Any other duties as maybe required
