Description of the job
A vacancy for a Supply Chain Logistic Manager (f/m) has arisen within Satair Group (a 100% subsidiary of Airbus) in Hamburg at the earliest possible start date. You will join the department "Kit factory".

Tasks & accountabilities
You will join the Kit Factory team, which is in charge for the assembly and the delivery worldwide of Airbus Material Kits to satisfy internal and external customer demands generated by embodiment of service bulletins, upgrade campaigns, etc.
You as our successful candidate will be in charge of:
¤ Ensuring that the LLP (Lead Logistic Provider) performs and delivers on time, quality and costs, in line with the requirements of the customers and/or other Airbus stakeholders
¤ Planning and assessing volume growth and new business requirements, ensuring the correct sizing of the LLP in terms of overall capacity, productivity and surface availability
¤ Ensuring operational interface between the Airbus stakeholders and the LLP, being the first level of escalation in case it is required
¤ Developing and monitoring logistics KPI´s, addressing performances issues to the LLP and taking accountability for the mitigation of those issues
¤ When required, writing and issuing logistic specifications for the definition of contractual change requests with the LLP
¤ Tracking and addressing customer´s complains, ensuring feedback on time and quality, root causes analysis and following up with the LLP and stakeholders any required improvement action
¤ Special projects which required dedicated attention, set up and reporting
¤ Project management activities for Logistics Continuous Improvements and Strategic Initiatives
¤ Supporting and collaborating on processes developments and improvements
You as the successful candidate you are able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or similar
* Professional experience in Logistics Service Provider (LLP) management and coordination is required
* Several years of experience in defining of new processes and optimizing of ongoing processes is a prerequisite
* Experience and skills in improving logistics flows is required
* Advanced project management experience is a requirement
* Basic SAP (MM and PP) skills is required
* Lean mindset and out of the box thinking
* Experienced in working in a quickly changing environment
* Team player
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Negotiation level in English and intermediate level of German is required
