Supply Chain Liasion Manager - Airline - Luton

Job Purpose
Reports to the Head of Logistics and Technical Contracts and is responsible for the daily management of easyJet's third party component and logistics service provider. To ensure delivery of key KPI?s for inventory, component repair, material supply and logistics.
The Supply Chain Liason manager is part of the E&M Logistics and Technical Contract team responsible for delivering key commercial and operational support to the engineering and maintenance function.
Role Accountabilities
Focal point in engineering and maintenance for the commercial and operational management of key supply chain partners.
Engage with the engineering management team to ensure the services are delivered to the correct specification and levels of performance.
To present performance data (operational and financial) to the senior management teams in engineering and finance.
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with senior stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
developing strategic supplier partnerships with third party suppliers of aircraft components and services within a fast paced and high performing business unit.
Co-ordinate the planning and delivery of a range of commercial and strategic projects involving stock provisioning and inventory management for new and exisiting fleets.
Oversee the material supply for new aircraft and cabin modificiation programmes.
Manage robust service contracts with contracted supply chain support organisations and ensure delivery to service level agreements.
To establish and maintain policies and procedures with 3rd Parties to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
To engage and communicate regularly with suppliers and key internal stakeholders
Manage a small team of material management professionals.
To deputise for the Head of Logistics and Technical Contracts as required.
Manage and Deliver key improvement projects in line with the business strategy and future lean initatives.
Timely closure of audit findings including root cause analysis to preventer-occurrence.
To maintain an awareness of market intelligence within the Vendor and MRO Businesses.
