A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structures Aircraft Technician to join Babcock International at RAF Valley, Anglesey to be part of the T1 Operations.  

The Contract is responsible for the provision of first and second line support for the Hawk aircraft.

  • Carry out all required work within their area of  specialisation on Hawk T1
  • All tasks pertinent to the preparation dispatch and receipt of Trade related equipment in accordance with all relevant, current technical instructions.
  • Identify and replace items and associated equipment, undertake required maintenance tasks and testing related to the replacement
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Support line manager in the continuous improvement of all work processes.

Technical Experience and Qualifications

  • Skilled producer level with 2 years fast yet experience
  • Good overall trade knowledge (aircraft airframe systems) 
  • Practical structural repair experience either in aircraft manufacture or as part of a repair team 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Engineering policy documentation  
  • Experience of working with quality, safety and environmental management systems
